Nyx

Corbin is having another name change, since he's returning to his fae roots. He now goes by Nyx. He's a nymph/fae, retaining a lot of his traits from before. He has enticing pheromones, and general fae magic. He has been kept by a man for several years, being used to purify water and make food fresher, but by the start of the game he'll be traveling with Hex.

He's a little feral, not very trusting.

Alwyn (name might change)

Alwyn lives alone in an old radio tower that will be located in whatever landmark we decide to have all the pups settle in. Like his brother, he is also fae, though they don't know one another at all.

He has similar powers, but isolates himself to keep safe from raiders. He's very nervous and awkward. He is not a great DJ, but he occasionally chats over the air, using his place up in the tower to report on unusual activity and odd weather between playing whatever music he finds.

Trip

Trip comes from Metallica Through The Never but he is mostly going to be an OC because he isn't the most developed character.

He's a runner and a drug dealer, doing what he needs to keep fed and warm. He's trusted by several gangs to be a neutral messenger. He's unafraid of a fight, though will avoid a fight until he can't. He's extremely difficult to hurt, having been beaten and even set on fire. He possesses a scream that can destroy an army, but because it's so powerful he rarely uses it.

In the remnants of London he can often be found skateboarding and when things go very well for him, he'll never miss an opportunity to get high.

If you are in need of something, Trip can get it for you for a price.

Hex

Hex is a medic and a nomad. He travels around the ruins of the city and dreams of going north. He holds hope in his heart that if he goes north, things will be better. He'll find good people and food. He has no proof any of this is true, and he never actually takes steps to leave, instead seeking out people to help.

One of those people is Nyx who he found in a grocery store. The fae had just lost his master and Hex knew he couldn't survive so he took him with him. Nyx's magic makes him possessive, though he fights that because he knows people don't just own other people. It's tempting, though.

John

John's not from here. He's from another world entirely where the apocalypse was his fault. The entire Justice League, but his fault. In his world, time and space was utterly ripped apart and he tumbled through the multiverse and landed exactly where he'd been, in front of a Tesco. Except the world around him had been destroyed. He'd found a newspaper that enlightened him, and then he'd set out trying to find anyone to talk to.

He's a powerful magician, but even going home, righting his wrongs, is impossible. He's almost come to terms with that as he wanders the city, trying to keep the supernatural from becoming an actual problem for the survivors.

Prometheus

Still a titan, still a bit mad. Wandering through the wastelands with no real goal, other than to see if mankind can eventually rebuild.

Q

Q is a tinkerer. He builds stuff, fixes things, invents things on occasion. He considers himself pretty neutral, working for anyone who'll pay.

Bond

Bond was a commander in the navy during the war. No, in what's left, he's in charge of a band that lives past the outskirts. They trade, and raid, to get what they need. Bond rules over his little kingdom, often trusting the base to his first captain, Tanner.

Tanner is necessary because Bond loves to go out on his own to find treasure and to meet people. A raiding party never gets the kind of intel that a leader needs.

Intel like what Harry's compound is up to, how armed he is, and how much food they have...

Aaron: Pretty much how he was before all the AUs. Preacher, former exorcist. He has a shelter at a church, mostly the mausoleum under the churcg, since that's the only part that survived untouched. The people in the church believe in his teachings, but he'll refuse to call them a cult. There's a man amongst his followers who can commute with the dead. Unfortunately, he suffered injury during the apocalypse and he's not all there.

Klaus: The aforementioned medium. You find Klaus when you're looking for a loved one. Some of Aaron's followers keep him drugged out of his mind so they can use him to get into contact with the dead without him putting up a fight. He doesn't care. He likes the drugs. There's too many dead people to deal with without drugs.

Hannibal

Wherever we have a community thing going, that's where Hannibal will be as the resident cook. He manages to make it work, no matter where it comes from. Scavengers and scouts provide him with the ingredients and he has managed to grow a little herb garden (only with the most sturdy herbs). He guards this herb garden with his life as it grows what now are very rare herbs.

Sometimes people vanish. This happens. It's a rough world out there. Entirely unrelated, sometimes he cooks up a really delicious meal, with a big chunk of meat. This happens. Not all animals have gone extinct and sometimes they get lucky.

He used to be a psychologist, and he's still a listening ear to anyone who needs it, but his foremost duty is to make sure rat and canned beans taste like something decent.

Harry Starks

I think I'm going to give this guy a go. Harry Starks. Former criminal - a fact he won't hide - and with the security of the community. I'd love him to be head security.

He's unpredictable, highly flammable and prone to dark depressions. He knows of a pharmacy stash and gets his meds from that place. It's his best kept secret.

He's got a strong moral code (his own, granted, but he holds to it) and while he's not intelligent, he's very clever and resourceful.

Robert MacCready (Fallout)

Just goes by MacCready most of the time. Has been on his own since the war started, living with a colony of kids (and severing as their mayor) until he was 16. Fell in love with a woman named Lucy while working as a gun for hire. She was killed by raiders, but their son Duncan survived.

Duncan currently lives out in the countryside with people Robert trusts to look after him. His son is sick with an illness no one can seem to diagnose, and his mission is to find a cure. In the meantime he takes small jobs in the city to get by.

MacCready looks a bit gruff, but is quite soft spoken and seems to avoid violence when he can. He doesn't have many friends and tends to keep to himself, but for a fee he'll escort you anywhere in the city as armed protection.

Danny

The events of the show happened just near the end of the war. Danny is a survivor though, and it's no surprise he's still around, scrounging up his meds whenever he can find them, doing whatever he needs to to keep going.

He's a lot colder now than he once was, harder, less likely to let people get too close.

Harry Hart

Harry is, essentially, a version of if Mark Zuckerberg turned into a not-shitty Elon Musk. As a very young man he started a social media platform that took off in a big way, and he decided to sell it after deciding it was making humanity worse instead of better. And so he turned his attention then to electric and eventually self-driving cars. He had plans to solve renewable energy but then, you know, the world went to shit. Also at some point he refused to let the military use his tech, oops.

After spending some time on his own, he has an "accident" (lost an eye, ask Bond about it) and went off the grid for a while while he healed up. Then decided, fuck this shit, I'm not going to just survive anymore, I'm going to do something. And so he gathered a crew of (a) really really smart people; and (b) people who needed help, and created a little colony. They've recently come back to London with the intention of turning it back into a real city.

Greg House

House is essentially canon from the hospital AU! He was in London for a few years before things went to shit, and now... well, things are shit.

He's a doctor, at least, which is a damn useful skill to have now. And it's pretty lucky that he happened to save the life of harry hart... well, sort of, it's not like being a billionaire is THAT useful. But he was ok with joining his little band of scientists since there is safety in numbers.

He's also hoarded as much narcotics as he possibly can, but he's really running low. And when you're in survival mode is not a good time for your leg to be hurting.

Eliot Waugh

This is post-canon Eliot. So Eliot and his friends saved the world (both of them) and he took a teaching position at Brakebills. He and his boyfriend were just hanging out in London for a weekend when everything totally went to shit. Boyfriend's dead. And also? Whatever the bombs did seem to have completely cut off Earth from Fillory. So there's no magic... again.

Sometimes Eliot can eek out just a little taste of magic, a spark here, a smoke ring there, but at this point he's mostly stopped trying. He's just trying to survive, which is pretty hard when all you know how to be is a musical theater actor and a magician.

He'd be absolutely drowning himself in drugs and sex if that were possible. When it is, he does.

Remus Lupin

After all of Remus' friends died, Remus was forced to take jobs that were far below his level of ability, always knowing he would have to leave them before his workmates noticed the signs of his lycanthropy. Eventually he was living in poverty, in a tumbledown, semi-derelict cottage outside London. He used some of his meager funds to rent a more sturdy storage unit, where he chained himself up during the full moons.

At some point shortly before the apocalypse he got loose during a full moon and killed a man, and also came into contact with Hannibal Lecter.

During the apocalypse, his house collapsed and his wand was snapped in two. He's taped it together, but it's almost too dangerous to use; half the time he ties spells they don't work and sometimes they backfire spectacularly. He's tried to find another wand, but Hogsmeade was completely razed to ashes and he's barely run into other wizards.

At this point he's just trying to survive, but is honestly starting to wonder whether there's any point. At least he's still been able to chain himself up during the full moons.

Kersen Sonneveld

This Kersen is basically the same as previous normal-London versions of him, minus any character relationships. He owned a piano bar, did drag, and had some of the same drama-with-other-vampires that I vaguely remember. :)

Kersen is almost 400 years old and this has definitely been the absolute worst of it. He actually got caught in a bomb blast and would have been absolute toast had he been human. As it was, he was a complete mess, and survived only because when he woke up he was next to an almost-dead woman, who he apologized profusely to and then drained dry.

So the thing is, vampires can survive off of animal blood. If they have to. Not well, not healthy, but they can survive. Kersen made his way through blood banks until the blood spoiled, and has managed to save a bit more in reserve on ice, but is trying to go through it as sparingly as he can. And otherwise... animals. Which are also starting to be a problem.

Anyway, it really sucks to be a vampire right now. Pun intended.
